Coach Elise Coughlin

Hi! My name is Elise. I’ve been personal training for four years now and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t love it. I always heard the saying “if you love what you do, you won’t work a day in your life,” but I never thought it could be true. Fortunately for me it is. My passion first started when I was 16 when I got my first job at a gym right down the street. Over the next couple years I fell more and more in love with exercise and health and eventually ended up getting my bachelors in physical education with a concentration in exercise science and health fitness. I am also personal trainer certified through that ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association). There are so many things I love about personal training such as helping others reach their goals, learn the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy living an active and healthy lifestyle. I love watching my clients reach their goals, grow in strength, mobility, flexibility, and most importantly, increase their confidence in themselves. Over the past four years I’ve learned so much about myself as a trainer and about the personal training world and have realized just how different every person is from each other as well as how each person’s needs differ from each other. I love this diversity. I love creating workouts based on each person’s needs and desires and I love making working out fun! This will be my career for life. I love it more and more every day.
